The Jersey City Language Lovers Meetup

The Jersey City Language Lovers Meetup aims to bring people together to improve their language skills. Whether you're a student of the language or a native foreign language speaker who wants to meet new friends and improve English skills, our group focuses on gathering people in the community to practice and share language in a laid back, friendly environment in historic downtown Jersey City, NJ.

Currently we have both a weekly Spanish conversation group and a bi-weekly French conversation group. Each group chooses a book to discuss at one meeting per month (Please vote for your book choice in the "Polls" section in the left sidebar). We will also have movie nights or other events based on input and interest from members. The German conversation group will be starting this spring.

Our group is ideally for those who have a "high beginner" to native/fluent level in the language. However, if you are a low beginner who is excited and a quick learner, you are more than welcome to attend.

Portuguese, Italian, and others to follow. E-mail the organizer if you want to assist in starting one for the language of your choice.
