word interpretation needed please!

I am having trouble interpreting a word, mainly because I do not know the correct spelling for the word, just the correct pronunciation. Can anyone help me please?

The word sounds like who-she? I have tried looking up whoshe, woeshe,hoeshe, but cannot find any definitions. I do not even know what language it is. If anyone can give me help in this it would be greatly appreciated!
